The MC3 was designed with simple maintenance in mind. See how easy it is to perform standard maintenance tasks with the step-by-step videos below.
Installation Preparation
Installation Size Considerations
Verify that the selected installation location provides sufficient space for the corrector and meter. Also allow additional space for any attached devices, if applicable.
Leave sufficient space around the corrector and meter to allow access to the display, AMI/AMR device, pressure piping, antenna for modem communication, and cable access for testing, as applicable.
The MC3 may be operated within the following ranges:
Temperature: -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C)
Humidity: 0–95% (condensing)
EMC EN61000-4-2, Severity Level
EN 61000-4-3, Severity Level 3
Meets FCC class B requirements
Ingress: IP66 and NEMA 4X for dust and water penetration
Verify that the location where the corrector and meter are installed will remain within these ranges.
Ensure the corrector and meter can remain level within 1/16 inch per foot (5 mm/m) in any direction, side to side, and front to back.
Safety Considerations
Safety considerations, certification standards and safety requirements coming soon.
Corrector Installation
Magnetic Shaft Swap
The MC3 has a magnetic shaft that senses volume from the meter. It is shipped with the magnetic shaft inserted in the 2/3/5M 23/38/56M port by default. Follow the video instructions to change the location of the magnetic shaft to accommodate different meter sizes.
